The Story Behind NoelineR Photography
Hello and welcome!
I’m Noeline, the heart behind NoelineR Photography. Based in Melbourne’s Outer West, I photograph pets throughout Melbourne, Geelong and Regional Victoria.
My work has frequently taken me to the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula and beyond - from Maryborough in the northwest to Benalla and Violet Town in the northeast. I’ve even had the joy of photographing pets as far afield as Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland.

Photography has been part of my life for more than 12 years. I first fell in love with landscapes, capturing the beauty of nature and refining my skills through long exposures and creative techniques.
By 2015, I had commenced photographing people - from events and even a wedding, to heartfelt portraits of families, children and maternity sessions.
In 2021, during breaks between Melbourne’s COVID lockdowns, I started professionally photographing rescue cats at Ingrid’s Haven to assist in the adoption process. From that moment, I was hooked on photographing animals.
Since then, my passion for pet photography has only deepened. Over the past four years, I’ve raised more than $5,000 for animal rescue through coffee table book projects and have had the privilege of capturing the personalities of hundreds of pets - MANY of them cats. I continue to volunteer with animal rescue organisations, photographing pets to support adoptions and fundraising efforts.
Outside of photography, I’m a nurse and a proud parent and nanna. These roles shape the care, patience and love I bring into every session - whether I’m photographing pets, families, or both together.
I am currently studying pet grief counselling, deepening the ways I can support families through every stage of their journey with their beloved animals.
Alongside celebrating the joy pets bring, I also offer end-of-life pet photography for families with pets who are elderly or have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. These sessions honour the love, bond and quiet moments shared in a pet’s final chapter.
I am an affiliate photographer with The Tilly Project, an international nonprofit that connects pet owners with end-of-life photographers and provides accessible, educational and supportive resources for anticipatory grief, pet loss and bereavement.
When it comes to editing in the studio, I have two very important assistants by my side: Cleo and Milly, our rescue cats from Ingrid’s Haven. As resident “feline supervisors,” they bring warmth, curiosity and just the right touch of mischief to the creative process.
Today, pet photography is my greatest joy and primary focus. I still continue to offer family and maternity sessions with the same heartfelt approach - and I love it even more when beloved pets join in too.
